A well established urban education issues consultant, Freddie Asinor, EdD, MS, MPH, has more than 25 years experience in the public health education and administration areas. Prior to taking his current position, Dr. Freddie Asinor was part-time executive director with the Washington, DC-based Ocular Melanoma Foundation (OMF). Reporting directly to the OMF board, he informed strategic development and operational improvement initiatives. He also sought to enhance the organization’s visibility through research and community-focused activities and fostered a robust donor base.
From 2012 to 2013, Dr. Asinor also held responsibilities as dean with Delaware State University’s College of Education, Health & Public Policy. He oversaw a range of strategic planning functions that built upon the institution’s well-defined tradition of academic excellence in interdisciplinary research. In April 2013, he facilitated the first-of-its-kind Statewide Obesity Prevention Conference. Dr. Freddie Asinor’s current consulting engagements leverage extensive knowledge of diversity issues and minority enfranchisement strategies.
